During the annual Well Dressing week the 6 wells are all dressed with a different design created entirely from natural materials. Coffee beans, leaves and petals from local flowers are all included. The dressings are erected on the eve of Ascension Day and remain in place until the following Wednesday evening. Visitors travel from across the country to see the Well Dressings.

After a 2 year break due to the pandemic, the Tissington Well Dressing was back in 2022.

Tissington Craft Fairs are proud to hold a market in the village hall during Well Dressing week.

All of the businesses in Tissington village are independently run.

We are always mindful about the types of stalls we book for our market as we don’t want these to impact on their trade.
